With only primary-level academic education, he learned golden work experience from an early age at the Greek Central Market. He worked several jobs before landing in a fishmarket prior to his own location. After many years of hard work, he opened his own location. 50 years later, it stands as a Montreal landmark for fresh fish and smoked salmon.
